Digital Air Gauge TM100
Cherry’s digital air gauge is ideal for measuring dimensions with tolerance less than 1 micron. It is a non contact means of comparative dimension measurement. It uses steel plugs or ring with precision orifices. As air passes these orifices, results in pressure verses distance curve. When the orifice is restricted, the flow is reduced and pressure builds up into the system. This principle is used to monitor distance between air jet face and the part surface resulting in accurate measurement of the machined components.
